At initial power up, the time is set for
midnight (0:00) and the 'on' time events will
display 7?:00. The 'off' events will show 00:00.
The seconds will be running.
Each menu option has a timeout period of
approximately 20 seconds, before returning to the
default screen, the top line of the display
will show the current time, and on the second line
the next programmed event
time.
The clock is a 12 hour clock, midday is
shown as 12:00 and midnight as 00:00
The switch, on and off times display
alternately every 4 seconds.
Holding the button down for 1 second or
more will advance the menu options .
The menus cycle around.
To set the time, the button is pressed for
approximately half a second.
Loss of power will result in all settings
being lost.
To enter the time or programmed times a
press and hold
of the button will advance the menu. A short press will increment
the menu choice. Each menu choice waits for a
button press for 20 seconds before returning to
the default screen. The menu can only be advanced,
and cycles through all options before returning to
the default screen.
Press and hold the
button.
The LCD
will display the word Set on the left of
the lower line on the LCD, and the word
HOUR
A short
press of the button will now increment the current
time (hour) , at switch on the hour will be at 00
ie: Midnight.
Press and hold the
button.
Menu
will increment to Set MIN continue as
above. Note that the seconds are reset on each
increment.
Press and hold the button.
Menu
will change to Set +HR the lower line will
change to display
SET +HR 00 Ev x
A short
press of the button will increment the programmed
on hour time for event no (1....7).
The
menu cycles in the following order:
Set HOUR sets the current
time (hour)
Set MIN sets the current time
(minute)
Set +HR Ev sets the progam ON
time (hour) for event Ev (x) where x =
1..7
Set +MN Ev sets the program
ON time (minute) for event Ev (x)
Set -HR Ev sets the program
OFF time (hour) for event Ev (x)
Set -MN Ev sets the program
OFF time (minutes) for event Ev (x)
Set Ev increments the event
number this will cycle round from 1 -> 7 ->

Once a programmed event has been set it can
only be reprogrammed, it can only be returned to a
no program exists state (7?) by resetting the
controller. To make the controller ignore an event
the ON and OFF times just need to be
made equal.
Adjustment of the clock for BST will need
to be accomplished manually.
